Poppy Seed Pods

I love these little poppy seed pods - left behind after the flower drops away. They are fascinating structures. When they dry out and open up, it is always fun to scatter the seeds (thousands of them)…this may be why our garden is full of poppies and not a lot else! I liked the two of these together with the third showing up below :-)

Food shopping trip this morning and daisy/grass cutting this afternoon. Not a lot else done…just seem to be plodding along at the moment…
