Pub Lunch

Not me!! Don't be daft! Last time I had a pub lunch was last year when we went to Newcastle. I had a Halloumi Burger - it was delicious, and I can't wait to do it again when we are in Newcastle again in a couple of weeks! It never seems to be possible when we are at home. I have to work weekends and if Brian is off in the week I'm usually at my Dad's. Plus these days there is also the cost to take into account.

I took this when I went into town this afternoon. They have put in more planted-up rafts like the swan-islands, as you can see. They look good and have apparently attracted otters into the Brayford. I did not see any this time though. 

There were a few household things to get and I bought a few summer tops from charity shops too. I don't have many summery tops, and went in charity shops to help reduce waste and to save cash too!

It has not been as sunny today though it is still very warm. Tomorrow we have a trip to Wigan to look forward to, to watch the Warriors play newly promoted Toulouse. I'm confident for a win, but I hope the team are not looking at the game as an easy two points - Toulouse have some very good players and could spring a surprise if taken too lightly.
