Assessment Day

Today was her year 7 performance assessment. They also used it as an opportunity to record her NCO audition, which meant I got to see the assessment, a lovely bonus and something worth remembering as an option for next year's audition too! She played really beautifully. Minor slips but more than made up for with everything else about her playing.

It was then straight to the house to get into sports kit and off to the field for Sports Day. Her first since 2019. She said she was in almost every race because people were off. She came second in almost everything, despite the fact she injured her foot in the high jump. But she had a great time and apparently went a bit nuts with the purple face paint for their house colours! She's in quite a bit of pain with her foot, and had to go to the medical centre but had a good day.
