Brackenish
To Risley Moss late morning.
I thought I would have a go at an abstract image, and this is the nearest approximation to one I could muster. The photographic abstracts I love are of the natural world and involve no or minimal post-processing, just macro and/or cropping if needed. There are shapes, textures and colour patterns in the world (as well as a lot of weirdness) which are just extraordinary. They also can have the potential to shock - some of the best abstracts I’ve seen are of polluted landscapes and waters from the air.
This image of the end of a bracken leaf is not as abstract as I would like, but it will suffice today.
