Guardian

We haven't seen the chick(s) so far this year - the nest is further back on the roof - but the parents are on guard duty. This one returned to the chimney between repeated dive bombing runs at me and Hendricks as we came back from our walk. (When I say "dive bombing", he/she just swooped down at us repeatedly - at least we didn't get the full treatment, unlike my car...)
