Lapwing

It was an early start today - we left home by 7:15am and were at Gloucester Services by 9:0 am ! 

Next stop, ‘The Old School Tearoom’ at Hebden near Grassington, where they do wonderful salads which are much more imaginative than the usual offering . After admiring the tiny chicks and enjoying being back in Yorkshire, we headed over to Whitby via Helmsley .

We are staying in our usual place at Clitherbecks at Danby for a few days . So happy to be here and hear the curlews again .
This little lapwing welcomed us down the track,  as we arrived!
