Ssh!

A little fox cub settled down for a nap in the sunshine at the end of the garden so I nipped upstairs for a better view. And what a view.

I saw the cat next door, N, sneaking up his garden - I watched him appear through the hedge and go behind the fruit cage. The cub became aware of N's presence, turning his ears, then his head towards him. All was still for a few moments until suddenly the pair of them dashed off in opposite directions, N returning home distinctly perturbed.

I hope the cub found a more peaceful spot for the rest of his nap.
