Light at the End of the Tunnel

Amelia's school sports day today so I went along to support. It's a relatively non-competitive event but the children all seemed to enjoy it. Amelia shows promising signs of being sporty - NOT taking after Granny.

Earlier I'd had coffee & catchup with a good friend and this evening I've been to an outdoor production of Shakespeare's play 'As You Like It.  Performed by The Lord Chamberlains Men in the grounds of Waddesdon Manor it's brilliantly done and so funny - the language is so very clever. It's touring round the country so do go if it comes within travelling distance of you.(Extra)
