West Houston
I watched the cold yellow light sticking to outlines of iron posts, chain linked fences and the west face of almost everything before slipping quietly away. I was thinking of the book and nothing else. I wanted to talk about all things that are funny and tragic at the same time. I wanted to look out at the city as I walked back after tennis.
