Up early and breakfast at my Hub hotel - the weather had cooled down a little but it was still hot and humid. Walked through Whitechapel to Queen Mary University of London, past the Blind Beggar pub and the East London Mosque. The market was setting up and the area was waking up for the morning. At the tube stations near the University, families were joining the route for the Open Day which was being held. Up to the Geography department where we were having a meeting of the Geographical Association's Governing Body. A long and important meeting, then tube back to King's Cross and train home.
