A Bracketed Flower Arrangement

Bracketing is the photographic technique in which a series of test pictures are taken at different exposure levels in order to obtain the optimum exposure.
Today's shot is my attempt at an optimum exposure of this image (I didn't say best!). The surface is the backing on an old photo frame but I just loved the patterns against the flowers - and then I noticed the metal picture bracket attached to it was in the image - hence the laboured double meaning of the rather ponderous title!
In other news the lemon and ricotta tart from yesterday turned out fine. We had it with double cream and raspberries. Actually quite delicious although I say so myself! :-)
