Early Bird

A quick and early blip today, as I’m off to a Fungi conference. I’m very lucky that it’s being held in Barnsley, so only 30 minutes’ drive, whereas others are travelling right across the country. 
This was my first sighting of a Greenfinch youngster this year. It is all fluffed up, as it perched atop the bird table and had a good shake..
