Not a lot happening

After four days of absolutely fabulous weather; today has been very windy and rainy. I managed to go for my 'first thing in the morning walk' without getting wet and Ann managed to walk to and from the leisure centre to swim without getting wet.  Obviously she got wet when she was in the swimming pool. Lol!  By 9.30am I'd had a decent walk, had breakfast and Ann had swum half a mile.

Things went downhill after that! We went to Asda (obv I had to wait in the car) and then I had a walk at Hayle. It may not look like it was raining in this Blip but it was. It was that mizzly drizzly type of rain where you don't think you're getting wet but then when you get into the car you realise you're soaked through and everything gets steamed up!!! Ann said I was very stinky and apparently there's nothing worse than the smell of a wet dog when you're in a confined space.

The rest of the day has been frittered away. Normally on a Friday Ann goes to 'Friday afternoon club' with her friends for a couple of glasses of wine. It was too wet to go out, even the lure of wine didn't tempt her?!! so she just frittered the afternoon away catching up on Eastenders and reading trashy magazines. I was quite happy to snooze in my bed.

By 4.30pm the rain had stopped so I went into the field to play with my ball. Ann was a bit worried that the grass would be muddy, but it wasn't. I think because it was very windy and also the temperature is still quite high it was pretty dry all things considered. I only played for about 15 mins because playing with a ball exhausts me pretty quickly.

So here we are.................. another Friday evening and we're 'Billy no mates' tonight so we'll be staying in 'home alone' and watching Coronation Street and Eastenders.
