A trip south to see family. We got away quite early and the journey wasn’t too bad with no hold ups. Fair amount of traffic and it was moving freely. A bit surprising given disruption caused by rail strikes but not complaining.

Went to see Dad who told us all about his National Service and the RAF stations he had served at. I don’t know how many times I have heard these stories.

He had this picture of me on display and I have always liked it and thought it would be a nostalgic blip for today.
