Triffid

This has well and truly shot up over the past few weeks.  I pass it regularly on my stomp route down into the town.  I think it is a buddleia but you know me and plants so that may well be wrong.

We have been swarmed the past few weeks by canvassers as we had an election thanks to our infamous past MP watching porn in the House of Commons after his ‘Googling for tractors’ went wrong.  Everyone sensed and opportunity to send a message to Boris so we must have had a tree full of paperwork through the door, together with the candidates and some cabinet members too in order to try and hang on to the seat for the conservatives.  It was no surprise to find out that the LibDems won out on the day.  Leo was a bit disappointed as the Tory candidate was his Foundation Year teacher and they had a nice catch up when she came to the door canvassing with Sajid Javid.

At least we will be left in peace now and my recycling will decrease with less paperwork shoved through the door.
