Asparagus out, courgettes in!

June is a fantastic month - it's that time of year when the balance starts shifting and the months of hard work start paying off! And with most things now in the ground, it's getting a bit easier.

Today, I picked the last 4 asparagus (I was supposed to let them grow after the summer soltice and decided a few days wouldn't make much of a difference...) but it was  great to have other goodies to harvest: lettuce, radishes, redcurrants and raspberries, but best of all, the first tomatoes and the first courgettes!
