Wind blown

Another breezy day here today. I spent the day on the machair at Bornish, South Uist. Things were pretty quiet there birdwise although i did take some photos of some Whimbrel - they are passing through on migration at the moment. For my blip today I decided on this photo of the dunes - the sand is constantly blowing over from the beach and is gradually burying the fence line.

I thought that in black and white the sand looks almost like a wave of water washing in.
