Lookout!

This is one of the Martello towers on the island. It is at the end of my favourite beaches, Pembroke. I think the granite shows up really well in the photo. As rocks go, granite is a very pretty one!
It has been a beautiful late afternoon, the birds and singing and my tortoise has been making his first spring forays in the garden.
