Survivor

As the building work progresses our garden has turned into a building site and certain plants that are able to take advantage have done very well, such as docks. Today I took the strimmer to most of the docks that I hadn't decapitated last weekend. The poppies were spared the strimmer as though they can become invasive pests, they don't seem to like our garden too much, so we don't get huge numbers of them, just one or two every year. Here is one of the survivors, photographed before I went inside to take anti-histamines...!
