Cruising the blue

Beautiful light on The Mere this morning so I was forced to stop and take a few quick photos. The blue has been slightly boosted and there is a touch of tonal contrast but not actually a lot of either it really was remarkably blue today.

We have been living in Ellesmere well over three months now and it is amazing how quickly a place can get into you psyche. I cannot imagine not having this lovely expanse of water just down the road now. It is a Blippers paradise (apologies however to those who are already sick of the sight of it) as the atmosphere around it changes constantly depending on sun, wind, cloud and all the other usual factors. And to have somewhere with 10 minutes walk or with lots of easy parking for pre and post work togging is a real Godsend.
