World Book Night

Today is World Book Night when free books are distributed. Jenny, on the right, has been a 'Book Ambassador' every year since it started. People sign up and choose a book they would like to give away free. Popular categories are heavily oversubscribed but the slightly off base stuff, which is what Jenny always chooses, usual has vacancies.
The books, about 20, are delivered to your house and you have to send them off. It can be to family, friends or even complete strangers. The point is to get people reading books.
Once read, the person should pass on the book for another to read, which means giving to a local library, community centre or just leaving it on a bench or bus hoping someone doesn't treat it as rubbish.........
