Rainbow

God's promise to Noah: 'I have placed my rainbow in the clouds. It is the sign of my covenant with you and with all the earth.' Genesis 9:13 I am a dyed in the wool agnostic, but there is something wondrous about a rainbow.

I went wave watching again at lunchtime, the sea today was deep bright turquoise - if it hadn't been for the temperature you could have thought yourself in the Med, and I got some passable shots. But on the way home, stopping at the little shop in Whiteness for something for tea, I saw this. I almost grew up in this house. When I was 6 my family moved, and this was one of the places we looked at. I've always liked it, and wondered what my life would have been like if I had lived here.
