Guillemots and Gillymot

This morning we had a boat trip around the Farne Islands. Saw loads of guillemots, cormorants, shags, some razorbills and puffins as well as seals. Pity I forgot to bring the binoculars!
This afternoon B and I went to meet up with friend G (AKA gillymot!) at Lady Waterford Hall in Ford. She and her recorder group were doing an open rehearsal there, a very suitable venue for them and a very interesting place to visit. https://www.ford-and-etal.co.uk/lady-waterford-hall/ great to see her again and catch up with her.
