Having a swim

Jerry left some tools he needed up at his hunt camp so we decided to make the ride to go get them and stop for fast food burgers for lunch. Sometimes you just need a burger.

We took the dog so she could get a swim in the pond. She enjoyed the water but her poor arthritic legs did not. She had a really hard time walking the short hill back to the cabin even though it was not far. She could barely make the jump into the car so I helped by lifting up her rear legs to give her the boost she needed. She slept all the way home and is now sleeping on her spot on the sofa. My Gypsy probably won’t go swimming again as it is just too hard on her legs.
