Mt Fitful

Steekit mist this morning, could hardly see the feet below me.  As the winds picked up, it soon cleared the mist by 10am, and a beautiful (but windy) sunny day and evening. 

Early shift in the airport again today.  With the thick mist, every flight was delayed today, including our Bergen flights.  Once the mist cleared, everything seemed to land at once, so it's never stopped all day.  A good team on, and we soon cleared our feet again, and got everyone sorted.  A mad dash home, grabbed some tea, and headed down to the shop for my evening shift.  Another busy night, which I could have done without.  Definitely needing my feet up tonight. 

I headed out for a late lunch, and some fresh air in the sunshine.  Even though the bulk of the mist had finally blown away, there was still traces of it hanging over the hills.  As I looked over to Fitful Head, it almost looked like a snowcapped mountain in the distance.  Taken from Scatness, Dunrossness.
