First dip of the season!!

Myself and these 3 other nutters had our first dip at Kilbirnie Loch tonight. A modest 12 degrees according to the car and the sun was shining . . . Perfect open water conditions. The excitement levels getting ready was great and as we shrieked and giggled getting in, the challenge of "the orange buoy" was set. We managed a stop start swim across the loch to about half way, where for some reason the buoys finished. This was a safe turning point for the first night. A decent 400-500m we reckon!!! Bring it in same time, same place next Tuesday!!
