Second night in Eastbourne and we decided to walk to the Beach Shack for breakfast. I had underestimated how far it was and we certainly worked up an appetite by the time we got there! Delicious avo and sourdough toast - OH had chorizo and poached egg. Hipster breakfast arrived in Eastbourne!

We walked back to Soverign Harbour to pack bags and head home via Wakehurst. We’ve been before and it is very tranquil and the gardens are varied. I remember the shop from when we visited before - great range of plants and books. I was tempted but didn’t buy. The picture today is of one of the prairie garden - beautiful yellow daisy flowers which will self seed. Wild flowers very popular everywhere.

Home to watch a bit of Glastonbury - not sure it’s my thing but there is a feeling of FoMo. Maybe one year, if we had a caravan or Winnebago?
