Glamorous Gran

Today I met Matilda Rose, my friend Mo's first grandchild. She has been eagerly awaited and apparently felt the same - she arrived 5 weeks early!

Her mum finished work on the Friday looking forward to 5 weeks to rest up and get ready for the baby's arrival ( including watching the last series of Downton Abbey that she'd bought the box set of! ) , but by Monday evening found herself a mother already. Meanwhile, family members were running around buying teeny tiny baby clothes and nappies as no-one had expected her to pop out so soon and so small.

Small but perfectly formed and a very healthy eater. Matilda Rose is going to be a force to be reckoned with!
