Pretty Plates

When I moved into my flat, the walls in the kitchen were a horrid, garish yellow colour. It was most incongruous with the rest of the surroundings and really not my thing at all. I lasted almost a year with the walls, mostly because I am too little to paint the high walls myself but after a weekend minding my cats, Helen told me that I needed to paint the yellow away. Two days later it was all gone!

These plates now hang on the wall in my kitchen. I collected them over the last few years, with my mum gifting me the one with the big pink flowers and green leaves. They are much more my style and much more in keeping with the rest of the flat.
