From 'The Worst Album Covers Ever' book
(Backblip). I spend a lot of time at my stall on Fridays staring at R's second hand book stall, because we're opposite each other. Naturally I was intrigued by his 'bad album covers' book, and I wasn't disappointed. Not worth buying, but there are some boring, bland and truly bizarre offerings within.
I had a reasonable day's trading, for a Friday, and afterwards walked around town with friend J, who is back on her feet, just. She commented on the even greater number of empty shelves in Wilko, and I said, this IS the new normal. Shopping has become a puzzle or sport. If you see something consumable that you need, you buy three of them, just in case you don't see them again. (but what if you can't afford three? What if you can't get to the only supermarket on the other side of town that sells the item you want)?
Walked home. Cooked fish en papillote for supper. I managed to walk 9,000 steps today, on a market day, so I'm counting that as 10K.
