Nothing gets me down

I was up by 8 this morning and sitting in Cosmo with my first coffee when himself appeared.

We moved quickly and went to the library and then had a walk along a very blustery beach. Very high winds today but lots of lovely sunshine.

There were ten volleyball courts set up and enough kids to fill them three times over - and many parents sitting wrapped up in blankets on beach chairs.

We enjoyed the exfoliation for free and headed back to the car.

Shopping next and then home for some
Eats before we headed again.

This time to the local farm deli. They are only just expanding from Being a potato shop … to full blown funky cakes; crisps; balsamic vinegars; coffees etc. and a coffee shop is planned.

So next year it’s will be stowed so
We are enjoying it while we can.

Then we headed to Glasgow and Ikea where we picked up new bedding and a new pot… then we headed to KandA’s where we were taking their wedding present to them.

K also bestowing upon me birthday presents and Christmas gifts from the last two years (we have seen each other just not in circumstances where present exchange would be advisable.

Oh goodness she spoiled me. Pens, notebooks, hairbands, mugs, booze.


Sadly I succumbed and opened one of the bottles (there were many) ….. so I find myself writing this tomorrow…. With a little sore head
