Disappointing news

We went to arrange a celebration meal booked for September and found out the landlord has had to cancel the booking because they can’t get the staff. Apparently it’s the same in lots of the service industries. It’s left us in a bit of a mess as we have family coming from all over and need to find an alternative. Lots of places have wall to wall weddings that were cancelled due to Covid restrictions. Looks like we’ll be eating out a lot to “case the joint” elsewhere. 
Sorry for the lack of comments lately. I’ve not been feeling my best. Older doctors would have called it general malaise. I don’t have any Covid symptoms though.
