RHS Bridgewater gardens

After Mass we found B waiting in the Patmos room for us.  We all had a coffee and biscuit .  Then the pair of us were supposed to go for a walk.  Ro pointed out that we still had vouchers for the RHS that would not be valid in July so we all trundled off to the gardens! 

We’re both members and can each  take a person in .  First we walked round the walled gardens.  The forest area and children’s area were closed as the high winds could bring a tree down! 

Some beautiful blooms! Especially some of the magnificent herbaceous borders!  I loved the artichokes!  But they take up a lot of space! 

Then lunch in the cafeteria and then Ro took one voucher and spent it on biscuits and a knickknack for each of our girls andB and I took the other to buy plants! I wanted the one above but that wasn’t available.  Bought a magnificent purple lupin and some tiny marguerites.  Hoping they will look nice in my planter at the front! 

A really enjoyable day.  Wind galore and many dark clouds but sunny at times and no rain!
