My 1st Poppy

Well I've had a few Californian Poppies, but not anything to get excited about.
This is a Poppy from seeds I picked randomly last year, then I found that the majority of the seeds had been taken & possibly eaten.
Luckily this survived, so I might be able to collect seeds from this one. :) 
My youngest son visited me today with his 2 children; so full of beans & curiosity.
I had to laugh when my son showed his children his old Infant School bag & my Grandson said to his Dad " & now you're the Parent."
Honestly they come out with such wonderful words; but yes he's right, my son is now the Parent. So sweet.
