Saved from the chop
Up late today after a very late night watching Glastonbury on TV. We always enjoy the three days of coverage, and Paul McCartney was on very late.
What was left of the morning was taken up with cutting the front and back lawns. In the front we have loads of campanula, which spreads like a weed but creates large splashes of blue where it grows. It’s spreading over the grass and I was going to trim it back, but on a very windy day this was where most of the bees were feeding as it was out of the wind. So I mowed around the campanula as it’s obviously providing a lot of nectar and pollen for the bees.
