The road less traveled.

Certainly less traveled than it used to be. It used to be the best available route from Villaviciosa to Oviedo. It´s said that the settlement´s name, La Campa, refers to a camp created by the Romans if not before. Some time in the 1980s, though, modern engineering drove a 2km tunnel through the hill at Fabares and the autovía drove through. So - this is where the petrol station was, now, as you see, derelict.
