one day in France

By Frenchtoast

Never a dull moment!

The day started with an ambulance parked outside, blue lights flashing at 7am! Mrs (middle-aged)Biker had been suffering chest pains for three hours and was being loaded into the ambulance!
The remaining bikers then had an earlier-than-they-had-previously-requested breakfast, and were en route to Saintes hospital by 9am.
After cleaning, restocking and making beds we then went to a L’s house for a seafood lunch to celebrate her mum’s 85th birthday.
We had emailed tonight’s guests to ask about their eta but had no reply, so we left early, but they have just arrived at 8pm.
In other news, all the pools round here have gone green since the storms, and our septic tank is full.
