The young ones

The young great tits are leaving their nest that hangs in our garden.

This one looked a bit too young to me, and with lots of cats in the neighborhood I thought I should put it back into the nest with the rest of his/her brothers and sisters.

Within a few hours it was out again.
It probably knows best what to do. I saw it being fed by his parents, so I guess all will be ok. Not all nature needs to be rescued when you see it.

A sad update, June 27:
This little one was still in the garden the next morning, until a huge magpie came by and took it away. So sorry. I should have put it back in the nest a second time.
