Yes We Karg

Seems like no time at all since Angela Merkel was hosting Barrack Obama at G7 and he was famously pictured drinking a Karg Weissbier (except he wasn’t - he doesn’t drink and Karg didn’t brew alcohol-free beer but hey, it’s a good promo) and there’s so much water flown under the bridge since then there’s almost none left for the Hoover Dam.
Anyway, we were in Murnau so wandered down to Karg for a small refreshment, except it was shut. Seems the brewery doesn’t hold the current G7 attendees in quite the same esteem!
Luckily we found a shady, breezy spot just up the road for said refreshment. All’s well.
