Oopsie

I'm keeping it short today, because - frankly - it's been a day.

As the light was getting lower in the sky, I was on the deck trying to quiet my mind with some nature therapy.  This wet Gray Catbird perched in the perfect spot - the bokeh in the background was gorgeous and the light was soft.  And just as I clicked, the bird spat up a seed which you can see falling in this frame.  I've only seen this a few times over the years, and always with birds in the mimidae family.  Perhaps coincidental, perhaps not.

I'm going in deep on the dark today - sea salt and ginger.
