I joined a couple of friends who were going to hear live concert on the southermost part of my island, at a combined pub, restaurant, concert venue called Carlas' Café. This concert was and interesting mixture of two cultures playing some kind of "Americana", country music, The main act was Hannah Aldridge from Alabama in the US, playing music she called Southern Gothic. The supporting act was a guy from Melbourne Australia called Lachlan Bryan, their band was called 'The Wilds'. Interesting and lively music with good lyrics I thought. It went on a bit too long, tiredness came upon us but we stayed the whole concert. And the food there is very good.
