Visit

Our lovely friend took Katie out for lunch today. She messaged after and said "Katie insisted on only having soup... She said its because she missed it as school don't serve it - I didn't make her just have soup"... When I spoke to Katie, she admitted that she had picked it because she wanted it but also to save Imogen money, bless her. They had a lovely walk together too and Katie really enjoyed the time out. 

Yesterday's jazz picnic went very well - she told me that at the last minute she'd got given a solo "and everyone clapped me!" - it was her first Jazz improvisation solo in a performance, so it was a good encouragement for her.

They've got loads happening at school this week, there's basically no lessons. It's prize giving for the y7 & 8 tomorrow morning. Rehearsals for Thursdays big concert. Tuesday is y7 pool party and ice cream. Wednesday is a project day. Thursday is community fundraising day and concert rehearsals, followed by the concert and then Friday is Speech Day, end of term Cathedral service and lunch then HOME!

4 sleeps til I see her, 5 til I bring her home.
