A Wide Angle Heartbreak

Today's image is a combination of a magazine illustration, some vintage lenses and our winter jasmine hedge.
The illustration is called "Heartbreak" and is by the award winning comic artist and illustrator Tom Humberstone, who is based in Edinburgh. He writes and draws non fiction comics for The Nib, New Statesman, Vox, Buzzfeed and others. You can see more of his fabulous illustrations on his website www.tomhumberstone.com
I found the lenses in our living room but nobody is quite sure where they came from - there are actually vintage galaxy wide angle and telephoto converters from a Japanese company called Kowa.
Our once fairly pristine winter jasmine hedge is now in an advanced state of dishevelment due to being jumped up and down on vigorously by several fox cubs which have been intermittently residing at the top of our garden.
All in all a rather odd combination but I think it works!
