A sacred space to grow plants.
The Feast Day of Saint Cyril of Alexandria.
This Monday morning is rainy and cloudy.14c.
Paul has Covid and needs time to recover. It has attacked his throat and he is far from well. Time heals they who are wise say. He has much to count as blessings. I am not sure how to wash his bedding and clothing as the new washer dryer only goes up to 60c. Dettox sprayed in, perhaps can get rid of the virus. Acceptance of my ignorance is one of the many life lessons and it is humbling.
Poor Arthur is still fighting the infection from the possible cat fight. He is eating awkwardly due to a bad tooth. We love Arthur and are aiming to help him really fight this test and win.
I hope this series of current unpleasant life lessons has an end and better more joyful days are ahead. Believing in goodness and God is only a part of the healing process. I know my own healing process requires both letting go of long held unhealthful patterns of suffering and being wise enough to keep away from close family members who find reason to mock me or torment. As we grow in wisdom and love for the holiness within and the grace to be found in the good manifestations around us, it dawns how what we once took forgranted has shifted. A time of gratitude to accept the life lessons we are given, and to distance ourselves from detriment.
The window boxes in the blip are at the mercy of the weather elements.
They were sown earlier this year and include vibrant orange and yellow nasturtiums and a variety of humble plants.
Take care, stay well, and have a good time blipfriends. Thanks for prayers and kind comments.
