What struck my fancy

Wreck at Rhossili Bay

Picture if you will the good ship Helvetia, under the command of Captain Stevenson and lately set sail from New Brunswick bound for Swansea in Wales UK with a cargo of timber, it's 1887 on the 31st October  and Swansea is close but a storm arises.

She strikes a sandbank known as Helwick Sands beyond the land mass ahead known as Worm's Head, the Helvetia is further shifted by the storm to come to rest here on the sands of Rhossili Bay some 10 miles from her intended destination.

I think the colour rendition has the edge and the extra is in black and white.
