Pheasant....

Little surprised to see this lovely female pheasant, along with numerous baby pheasants in the Veggie garden at RHS Hyde Hall this morning! Just wish I'd been quicker to grab more photos of them all as they quickly dispersed into the longer grass!!  Always something to surprise you!

A lovely humid sunny morning has been replaced by a rainy, thundery afternoon! Yay no plant watering required now!   Catching up around the house now while keeping an eye on the tennis! Mum normally goes to Wimbledon every year and got tickets again this year but her and her friend decided against going as the threat of train strikes and more use of digital apps for tickets and payment - they don't have those kind of phones! - put them off!
