Juvenile Greater Spotted Woodpecker

It was a bit drizzly first thing, then stopped, so I put out the towels.  I had just got indoors when the heavens opened and it's rained on and off all day.  The towels are still on the line.

The bird feeders have been busy with young tits, plus a robin which is feeding a youngster in the shrubbery.  It did step out onto the lawn but was ushered back by the parent.

This woodpecker had been to the feeder but I spooked it.  However it did land in our tree so I managed a few quick shots through the window.
