The way through the woods and then

Getting through the woods was fine. A bit creepy and I was tempted to take a few short cuts but I listened to the advice and I didn’t stray from the path so no problems! But what about afterwards? When the path leaves the woods and splits and splinters into a multitude of paths… what then?
