Skylines

This is the corrugated iron roof of Patrick's beloved grandparents' home in the middle of rural Ireland. We stopped by to meet relatives of P's who still live in the area and had a very convivial time. Yesterday evening we saw the first performance of a new musical 'In the midst of plenty' which was a harrowing account of the impact of the 19th century famine in the area. (the tone of which was like Les miserables but with Irish melodic folk voices and musicality.) It was an honour to be there and should it make a global tour I recommend it.
