Dinner With A View

On our last day In Zakynthos, we went out at 6.30 am with our hosts to walk their three dogs. They always walk early because of the heat. There were some amazing views over the hills and the sun coming up over the sea.
We spent the rest of the morning by the pool, swimming and reading and then went out for lunch at our ‘local’. We spent the afternoon in the shade on our favourite beach with lots of swimming in the turquoise blue water. Fortunately no jelly fish today!
In the evening we went out with our hosts for a meal at The Old Windmill. There was a panoramic view from high up across the sea, with windows all round the restaurant - the bottom left photo is the view from our table!
The food was fabulous. The photos are of the starters we shared - the feta in filo pastry with honey was my favourite.
